Denver Overview
The Colorado office of David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) opened in September 1998 with the acquisition of a local civil engineering firm. Since then, the Colorado practice has grown significantly to the present staff of more than 70 personnel who offer full professional planning, engineering, and land surveying services to a diverse public and private clientele.
DEA's multi-discipline staff specializes in transportation projects in Colorado and throughout the Western United States. Their transportation planners and engineers have worked with federal agencies, cities, counties, regional and state departments of transportation. They have applied their knowledge and multidisciplinary experience to roadway/street planning and design, highway and pedestrian bridge design, traffic engineering projects, traffic impact analyses, transit planning, environmental analysis, land surveying and right-of-way definition.
DEA's Denver office staff on the West Corridor project team has played major roles in final design of LRT in Phoenix and Portland and several individuals have played key roles in all of RTD's existing LRT lines and the Southeast Corridor, in addition to the West Corridor. Their staff also leads quality management and risk assessment activities for DEA's PMO assignment for FTA in Lower Manhattan.
