Neighborhoods
Two Creeks Neighborhood- The Two Creeks Neighborhood is home of the original Lakewood Subdivision platted in 1889 and was served by the Denver, Lakewood & Golden Railroad established in 1891. The area has changed since then from primarily farms and orchards to a diverse community of residents as well as commercial and industrial businesses. Today, the Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization strives to keep the Molholm Area (Wadsworth to Sheridan, 6th Avenue to Colfax) one which represents a positive, community oriented atmosphere based upon building and maintaining a healthy image. The Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization encourages a sense of community pride, provides a positive influence for citizens, protects the neighborhood environment from negative impacts, and maintains public open space.
