Northwest Rail Governments Team
In order to incorporate the feedback and input of local communities along the Northwest Rail corridor into the planning process, RTD works closely with the Northwest Rail Governments Team (NWRGT) on an on-going basis. Overall, the NWRGT provides an important mechanism for communicating the interests, concerns, and ideas of the communities along the corridor to the Project Team and RTD decision makers.
The Northwest Rail Governments Team representatives:
- Consider public input
- Discusses local and corridor-wide issues
- Consider recommendations proposed by RTD
- Represent the interests of the corridor communities and agencies
- Serve as a communication bridge between RTD and the corridor communities
- Provide direct and timely input to RTD
Northwest Rail Governments Team Representatives: The Northwest Rail Governments Team (NWRGT) consists of one elected official and one technical staff representative from each community along the Northwest Rail corridor. It also includes representatives from other federal, state, regional, and local agencies. The following is a list of the NWRGT representatives:
