Northeast Area Transit Evaluation (NATE)
The Northeast Area Transit Evaluation (NATE) is a separate study from the North Metro EIS and is designed to investigate right-of-way preservation opportunities for future, post-FasTracks, fixed guideway bus and/or rail transit between Denver and Brighton.
Since October 2006, the project team has been working with the affected jurisdictions of Denver, Commerce City, Brighton and Adams County to investigate options together and develop potential alternatives for the area.
The team is currently reviewing a draft report of the study. We will be meeting with local stakeholders and presenting the report findings city councils and county commissions in late March.
