RTD Releases Request to Build North Rail Line
DENVER, June 28, 2013 - The Regional Transportation District (RTD) today released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to design and build the North Metro Rail Line. This comes after RTD determined that an unsolicited proposal received in
February by Graham Contracting Limited has technical merit, thus providing RTD the opportunity to accelerate its bidding process for
potentially building the line.
RTD to Hold Another Telephone Town Hall Meeting on Northwest Area Mobility Study DENVER, June 20, 2013 - More than 48,000 people were
called to join the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) live telephone town hall meeting on June 19, with nearly 5,300 residents actually participating in the call. But others would have participated if they were able to connect through the publicized call-in number. The
telephone town hall served as the public kick-off of the Northwest Area Mobility Study that will result in a prioritized list of mobility
improvements for the northwest area.
RTD FasTracks Citizens Advisory Committee to Meet in
Westminster June 26
DENVER, June 12, 2013 - The 17-member FasTracks Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), which advises RTD on matters relating to RTD's voter-approved FasTracks program, will hold its second mobile quarterly meeting Wednesday, June
26, in Westminster. The meeting will be held noon to 2 p.m. at the
Westminster City Hall, Council Chambers, 4800 W. 92nd Ave.
Northwest Area Mobility Study Telephone Town Hall set
DENVER, June 7, 2013 - RTD is hosting a telephone town hall meeting to kick off the Northwest Area Mobility
Study. Participants on the call will learn about the study's goals and objectives, have the opportunity to ask questions and share comments.
