The I-225 Corridor Team is proud to present the DRAFT I-225 Light RailCorridor Environmental Evaluation document, which is now available for 30-day
public review and comment. The public meeting will include a brief presentation
of the Environmental Evaluation findings, and opportunities to submit verbal,
written or electronic comments. Your input and comments are important to us!

Session One: 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Session Two: 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

I-225 FasTracks Corridor Preferred Alternative Description
Nine Mile Station to Iliff StationThe I-225 Corridor LRT will begin at the existing Nine Mile station, travel north over the I-225 northbound lanes to the east side of I-225, then continue north to the Iliff Station, which will be located just east of the I-225 northbound ramp to Iliff Avenue.
Iliff Station to Florida Station
From the Iliff Station, LRT will travel over Iliff Avenue and continue north, running between I-225 and Abilene Street, to the Florida Avenue Station which is to be located on the north east side of Florida and I-225.
Florida Station to City Center Station
The LRT will continue north along Abilene Street, over Mississippi Avenue and its northbound on and off ramps to Exposition Avenue, where it will cross into the median and travel east to Sable Boulevard. At Sable, the LRT will go north along the east side of Sable Blvd. to the City Center Station which is to be located just north of Center Point Drive.
City Center Station to 2nd Avenue/Abilene Street Station
From the City Center Station, LRT will cross the northbound lanes of Sable into the center median, cross Alameda and continue north to Ellsworth Avenue. The LRT will cross into the center median of Ellsworth, cross to the north side of Ellsworth at Blackhawk, and continue west to Abilene Street where it will turn north, to the 2nd Avenue/Abilene Street Station, just north of 2nd Avenue.
2nd Avenue/Abilene Street Station to 13th Avenue Station
Upon leaving the 2nd Avenue/Abilene Street Station, the LRT will travel north along the east side of I-225, crossing over 6th Avenue to the 13th Avenue Station.
13th Avenue Station to Colfax Station
At the 13th Avenue Station, LRT turns west along 13th Avenue, under I-225 over Toll Gate Creek, then north along the west side of Toll Gate Creek to an elevated station located over Colfax Avenue at Fitzsimmons Parkway.
Colfax Station to Montview Station
From the Colfax Station, the LRT will travel north along the east side of Fitzsimons Parkway to just north of Montview Boulevard. The alignment will go west on the north side of Montview Boulevard to the Montview station, which is to be located just east of Ursula Court, in the heart of the Anschutz / Fitzsimons campus.
Montview Station to Peoria/Smith Station
The LRT will move west from the Montview Station along the north side of Montview Boulevard to Peoria Street. Turning north, the alignment will follow along the east side of Peoria to 25th Avenue, then cross 25th Avenue to the west side of Peoria Street. The LRT will continue north to just south of the existing intersection of Smith Road and Peoria Street and turn west to the Peoria / Smith station platform, from which connections to the East Corridor, Denver International Airport, or Downtown can be made.
